don't laugh at other ppl's misfortune.

Was wondering whether to blog this out or not, but to keep track of some stupid moments, I guess I would blog this out.

I went back to school yesterday again, because I had to drop my brother off at school and at the same time, David wanted to collect his SPM cert & attend CF (reason: I need to be holy-er), and I had lunch appointment with Jo and Ying Quan at around 2, so I decided to hang round school then. (sad case huh?!)

Everything was a o-kay at first. Was doing what a dutiful sister would do - fetching my siblings and also siblings friends (don't mention) home. yesh! I am a freaking c-kei now. *groan*

We were all at the canteen waiting for the stupid office to open so that David & Zen could collect their cert and then we can have lunch together. And then, suddenly when Ying Quan & Jolene were walking towards us in the canteen, they were having this funny-kinda-look.

Apparently, Jo & Ying Quan were climbing the stairs, and two juniors walked passed them. They greeted Ying Quan and then looked at Jo and then back at Yingky and said,

"Your mother ah?"

Right after we heard that, we burst out laughing! I seriously was laughing SO DARN HARD.. Jo even scolded me for laughing so devilish! hahaha.. but I couldn't help it!

And then, suddenly she mentioned that she was the same age as Ying Quan I once more burst out laughing again. It did not occur to me that they were the same age.
(tsk tsk, i know you guys are gonna say, "blur-woman, don't know her own friend's age!" -- P/s: I
know my friend's age, but due to Jo's maturity and long time friendship, she's practically like my age.)

To read more about her auntie-moment -

After that we went for lunch and everything, and then I followed Jo to Pyramid to do her Chinese New Year shopping and then we went into Body Shop to get Dennis's birthday present.

***

Brother got home in the evening, and then he went, "EH, che, guess what?" .... "What?"

"My friend thought you were mummy!"  -- oh shiat! the thought of Jo telling me that she was mistaken as Ying Quan's mom loomed into my mind.

"WhArTT? ... the crap!??" =__="

The whole conversation:-

Brother's friend: hey! I saw your mother in school.

Brother: huh? where got?

Brother's friend: thereee... *brings my brother nearer to me, points at me* that one with long hair and blue t-shirt. Oh! and that one sitting next to her is your daddy ah? (and the person sitting next to me was David!! who is supposedly my brother's 'dad' & my 'husband'! )
[I almost fainted on the spot after he told me that! ..... dad, mom and sister laughing like crazy now!!!]

Brother: noooo! the one with long hair is my sister and the one sitting next to her is friend.

Reminder to self: never laugh at other people's mistfortune.

***

Told Jo at night online, and she said that we can come up with an "auntie"-club already!! DIE loh!

just some happy random thoughts

This week is the first week of school and as I can gleefully say that I am enjoying my holidays *laughs at those who are going to school tomorrow! bleks!* to the maximum; which obviously includes going-out for movies, loadsa lunch appointments..shopping with the girls and it sums up to: spending a lot of money - simply a girl's forte!

As I see my little siblings get packed for school, especially my brother which is the age of 13, meaning that he's in form 1 now, I've come to realize that he has grown so much, I used to see him at the gate outside, waiting for someone to open the door, in that horrendous yellow shirt, and blue shorts (his primary school uni) and now, he's actually wearing LONG green trousers and white shirt, and he's actually in secondary school. I don't know why, but somehow, looking at him going to school and all, reminds me of myself in form 1 again. ohkay, I was just wondering why I didn't get all this funny thoughts of myself when my sister started school.. and my answer, it was because I was in form 5, and still having loadsa fun in school. :)

Back to looking at my brother going to school and all, and he suddenly tells me this, "hey, che, you know what, I think I don't have time to do my music homework, so I think I'll bring it to school and I'll complete them there, while waiting for class to start." Right after he finishes, the thought of Melody, me, and a few others sitting in the canteen doing our last minute art homework. At that time, we were rushing like hell to finish our art homework, mind you our art teacher was Pn. Christine, and if you didn't finish her art homework, she will throw your art stuff outside, and ask you to sit outside to finish her homework, or WORST; she would make you sit down OUTSIDE the teacher's office to finish your art work. And yes we rushed like hell, but kinda think of it, it was fun. Somehow, art has always been my favourite subject. :p Pn. Christine was also kind enough to let our class do this handcraft thingy; called Pualaman. You have to use oil paint to make this pualaman thingy. It was SO NICE. hehe.. too bad the other classes didn't get to do it because, we kinda, messed up the art room, and teacher didn't want the rest to repeat what we done. :p And ALSO, in form 1, she taught us how to make the 'tembikar' out of clay. It was so damn fun!! and then, in form 2, she even taught us how to do batik! :p It was DARN FUN! :)

And then, my brother continues with, "hey, che, must I pass this homework up tomorrow ah?" my answer, "ummm... dono".... he continues, "but I don't have this subject tomorrow..." "Then no need loh!" and then, the thought of respect popped into my mind. I remembered, in form 1 back then, we used to be SOOO afraid of teachers. kakaka. and then we went to form 2 and later up to form 5, hah! no one gives a damn, as in we weren't rebellious and all, well, a little, but then, we were not like.. afraid of teachers anymore and all.. you should know what I mean. And not only respect for teachers, I remember when I was in form 1, I didn't dare walk past the seniors classes - was scary okay. hah! NOW, kids nowadays arr, they are actually sending love notes (hahahahha... I remember back in form 2, this girl; [won't reveal her name here] used to throw in love notes into class, to one of my classmates! It was damn hillarious! The guys would be making funny noises, and then we would be the busy body ppl reading the note.) and also, I remembered that Joshua Tan used to have this whole troop of girls aka his fan club following him around school. hahaha.. if you ask me, now to do those stuff, I wouldn't have the guts to do so. :p

After that, he goes, "hey che, what should I join ah? Interact Club ah?" (FYI: normally, if he asks too many questions, I'd either ask him to shuttup or ask him to ask someone else or either ask him to eat his rice. But I didn't. Amazingly, I wasn't at all pist with him asking me so many questions.) and I answered his question with a 'duh'-face, and fortunately he was smart enough to understand the face I gave him. :p And suddenly the thought of visiting them during their agm would be a great idea. muahaha. go spy on them see how they handle the club. :p nalah. we just wanted to pay them a surprise visit! *whee. so we visited them today, and the members in our club, aiyah no need to say lar.. we have the biggest number of members compared to our sisters school, and I can see that the members are still growing - which is good. :) wish to list down some of the great memories I used to have in the Interact Club, but it'd be too lengthy also. But all in all I really enjoyed myself being as an active member and also a BOD - "service above self."

just some random happy thoughts about growing up in secondary school. :)
can't believe that classes are gonna begin so soon. reality check, "I-am-no-more-on-holiday-I-am-no-more-on-holiday-I-am-no-more-on-holiday" *chants* great! final semester in A levels - that's fast.

FAB weekend!

Yesterday... I meant my SUNDAY felt like Saturday!! *woohoo*
why? cos' I didn't go to church - erks* was not suppose to be happy with that.
reason: brother's orientation day!

haahaaa..ANYWAYS! NEW YEAR's DAY-- went facial and then after that I met up with Jo, Melody, Sush, Jiun Jeh, Joshua, Evelyn, Rosalyn, Vern and EVEN Mun Teng CAME! *woot woot* it was a blast! was HAVING soo much fun with them! hahaha! Jeh was happily explaining his dorm tradition thingy; when it's someone's birthday, the person is given a choice of choosing the 'hard' or 'easy' way. The 'hard' way is that - the guys strip you, the 'easy' one - easy! you strip yourself! hah! so yes, you can guess, Jeh was stripped, down to his undies! (erks?!) and he told us that the girls gave a very good review about his bum! hahhahaha! the fella was so bangga-fied!

Rosalyn
looks healthier! probly' cause the last time we saw her was at night. Wassit at night? ark! anyways she looks healthier & of cos' rosier! ;)

Eve
(never change wun! which is good!), hahaha that woman inssisted that I grew, which I did not! silly woman!l! :) but she was giving me a few pointers about studies here and there! thanks alot tho!
hahaha and yesh, I was talking to Vern, supposedly, his 'social life graph' shot up! congrats to him! :)
here's some happy pictures! *wink* Left around 2-ish, walked back to Jo's house so that she could get the car and send me home. Reason why she didn't want to drive: wanted to feel the same kind of feeling we used to had when we couldn't and didn't know how to drive. It was fun walking back to her house cos' the weather was great! :)
after that rushed home and changed and went down to church!

(L-R) - Sush, Jeh (S'pore changed him from a normal nerd to a funkaye nerd!LOL) and Meldee.

pweetty su-hsien! :p

hahahaha Jo looks so funny here!
Top (L-R) - EvelynJoshua
Sitting (L-R) - Meldee, Jo & Rosalyn! (see toldcha she looks healthy!)

Top (L-R) - Meldee & Mun Teng
Sitting (L-R) - Jo, Josh, Vern & moi.

a better one. :p

MelDee & I - having the same 'jenis' hairstyle! :p

after thaaatt..
REACHED church BEFORE AMANDA!! hah! that monyet told me not to be late.. blahblahblah.. and she was late! wonderful right?! :p anyways, that day CA's was JAM PACKED! seriously. for the first time ever, we're actually sitting on the last few pews? benches? whatever you call them!! and reason to jam-packed youth: it was after youth camp, so you could figure why it was filled with youth! gagh! eyesh! everyone enjoyed themselves and all.. *bish* and I wasn't there. I even got somekinda, straightforward; "you-didn't-go-youth-so-you-don't-need-to-know-and-no-rights-to-ask" heck it laer! think I choose not to go for camp lar? as if I wanted to skip camp on purpose? try being in my position, then you'd know how I feel! sometimes, people really put me off with their attitudes!! I mean you can't you think before you speak. like HELLO!? try being in MY shoes, torned between your grandparents GOLDEN anniversary, mind you GOLDEN not just ANY anniversary and youth camp!! of cos' my grandparents would come first!!! I was really hurt then!! really really! -- but I guess forgive is the only way. Holding grudges kills you...

anyway cut the crap short, message was really good. the pastor was great! :)
after that, I received a message from my sister, telling me to come home early cos' I had dinner with my aunt and family. :p reached Parade in 15 minutes with the help of (erk?) NKVE! hahaha!! after that went up to Cocoa to meet up with my aunt and uncle and then we had steamboat for dinner! *yums!*

2nd Day of New Year -- decided to watch "MEET THE FOCKERS!" hahaha.. I give that show 2 thumbs up! freaking hillarious! ohkay, so it was MY bad. I told Jo that I would meet her at her house at 2, but I was 45 minutes late! erk! I can explain!!

first, my dad was procrastinating about going out to buy lunch, AND THEN, he was TOO LAZY to drive, so yeap, I had to drive! and.. as I was heading towards my car, my dad was like,"NUP! I don't want to sit your car.. very hot wan!" ^_^" *zerts* wokays. VERY HOT then you buy for me laa.. good good! then he was like..."You drive my car lar!" *gulp* "wokays." went into the car, sister wanted to follow, as I was driving down the straight road, towards the place which used to be the roundabout, my sister commented, "eh, Esther, you drive daddy's car very scary lar.." (!?) "....wokays" and then I went on, to scare them even more, "You guys realize that I'm driving without a "P" right?" then my dad cleverly answered, "HAH! I thought you can take out adi!" >.<"  then dad was, "stop by bank, wanna take money!" Realized that I'm a freaking c-kei then!!  then after that drove him to the coffee shop to buy food, and then we drove into MCd's drive in! muahahahha! first time, with my dad... and sister! and he went, "don't turn too much! afterwards you scratch my side mirrors." *!?!? wokays... hehehe.. after that here's the worst part, due to many MCd's visit, because my siblings love MCd's.. he ended up having too much 1 cent in the car. (hate one cent!) Decided to give it away. Then he started counting, then pass to my sister, asked her to double check, passed to the cashier, she triple checked! see! that's where all the time flew away! after that reached home, after scolding a few people on the road - dad complains that I'm very grumpy on the road! hahaha.. and then swallowed lunch and changed and headed for Jo's place.

and then, here we go again, dad TOOK the long way, instead of turning out where we always used to go, the junction out to the traffic light near Shell station, he took the LONG way-- the U-turn near Metro. GAGH! Was like.."DAD! you took the wrong way!" and ... lalala..he was on the phone!! so thank God, there's NO singing session from him! ;) reached Jo's house the same time he put down his phone! *grin*

after that, Jo went to pick Mun Teng and then Melody! went to Pyramid; freaking Pyramid had SOO many people! urgh! all the stupid carparks were close, we had to park at SUNWAY HOTEL!! but.. it was alright! ;) anyways, we went there and well due to the full-house for 4pm show, we decided to catch the 6.30 show.

Visited MNG - people buying like money drops from sky, Esprit; men warming the couch, ladies running frm. corner to corner and visited Sue-Ann(!? is that how you spell her name?) who is working there, Topshop; filled with people! and then we decided to have early dinner at the Bowling Alley. hahaha.. and then, we REALIZED that the tickets given to us was at 4pm. WRONG TIME! 4pm MOVIE! oh shiat! gagh! stupid woman, told us that it was full! so we had to rush back to TGV to complain. hahaha.. but in the middle of rushing back, we ended up in one of the surf' shop there and then we were laughing at the Power Puff girls dancing on stage to Britney's stronger, and Kylie's erk.. forgotten what song! :p anyways, reached there, the lady was saying.."oooh.. nothing one nothing.." fine lar.. nothing.. and then, muahaha..

WE caught sight of something which says "SALE" at ROXY! muahaha.. Mel and I rushed into ROXY like mad women, and I was like.. "Hey I need a wallet!" and Mel went, "yea.. you SO need a wallet............. since form 1!" *zert* hahahaha... went to the wallet section! AAAHH!! found something that I really wanted and liked. Mel called Jo and Mun Teng over as they were talking to Afiq, Juzzy and Huini. Did I mentioned that we bumped into them?! oh okie.. we bumped into them!.... back to ROXY sale. Mel called Jo and said, "HURRY UP AND COME TO ROXY, we're DYING here!" LOL!! the way she said it was like.. super desperate! they came and they saw. and YESH! approval from all of them! and it was a good buy! 10% off! *woot woot* so we paid and then we went walked out, and yes, I was feeling very please with myself, and of cos' happy, with the very good purchase! muahahha..

decided to go into the cinema, just in case we have some problems.. and can solve it before the movie starts. Went in and we saw a couple sitting in our place. *erk* UH-OH! .... and the "but the lady said that it was okie.. ladeedah things!" hahaha! soo.. we ended up sitting at the SPARE chairs right behind. It wasn't THAT bad after all. View was pretty clear.. so probly it was a blessing in disguise. Overall, as I said it was SUPERB! *2 thumbs up!* except that there's this guy, whenever he laughs he will start kicking the chair, AND the WHOLE chair start shaking, so Mun Teng popped her head out looking at his direction, then Jo and then Jo said, "pop your head out" ..."oh" then I did and then Mel. hahaha somekinda, head-popping Mexican wave. ahahah.. after that the guy stopped kicking! *woot woot* after the movie, Juzzy called and asked us whether we wanted to meet up, but we didn't cause some of us had to go home. And then, Jo came up with a funkaye idea-- YAM-CHA! hahahha.. but Mun Teng wanted to go home, so we had to fetch her home first. Reached home, but no one was at home, so she had to join us! :p so we ended up in Ravi's - Mel wanted to go there for 'old-time's sake. hahaha.. and the shop was near the car, so yeah we decided - Ravi's it is! :) had a drink there for 1/2 an hour and then we decided to go home. :)

(L-R) - Mun Teng, Jolene & I. right outside the Hotel :)

(L-R) - Meldee (braclet buddy with Estee), Mun Teng & Me. (did not look down on purpose, but don't know why we looked down!) Mel and I showing off the same braclet we bought. and it was BUY ONE FREE ONE! omgoodness.. did I mentioned that I love shopping?

both of them look nice here!! I spoilt the picture! :'(

our buy-one-free-one stuffs!! and my most wonderful purchase - the ROXY wallet! 'of cos!

a new beginning (soon)

*whooopeedoo* was just telling my friend how time passes so fast. Sometimes we don't even notice that it flies by due to the hectic lifestyle that we live in.. the pace is so fast, everything is in a hurry, we prefer instant process to save time instead of taking the longer process - which sometimes, does do some good. Or even more if we're in the procrastinating mode, we'll be living in our 'tomorrow-never-dies' lifestyle.. "tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow."

But anyway, all I am trying to say here is we're actually reaching the end of the year. I can't imagine how much I've been complaining this year that I won't even survive till the end of the year, and now it's actually here.  We, Amanda, Jo Ann, Francine and I were actually discussing yesterday during lunch time about last year's youth camp. (btw, I still can't believe I missed CAMP! bwaa*!) Last year we seem to be so lost, and confused, like lost sheep not knowing what to do after SPM asking God for directions. And now, I'm onto my last semester in A levels and she has completed like 1 year in her, degree.. (wait or wassit diploma? heck!) in psychology! :) I remember almost everyone was quite anxious to start college, and most of 'em (I remember Kwo Kuang) was proudly showing everyone his Taylor's ID, and now almost all the SAM people will be leaving for OZ in a months time.

Seriously, sometimes, we're too busy with other things, we fail to just stop for a while, to appreciate the present time. Most of the time, after a while, when we sit down and then we start to ponder, then we will realize that something good actually happened, or worst, we don't even realize that something good actually happened... why must it always be reminiscing of the past.. why can't it savour it now and then. It's like appreciating something when it's dead, and not when it's alive. sad huh? but I'm sure most of us are in that kind of situation.

Back to lunch yesterday, we were all discussing about leaving our home sweet home for studies. A little anxious to leave, but also a little scared because we will be all alone. As we were discussing, we realized that we're gonna come out and start working soon. Jo Ann will be leaving mid-Feb (or was it late-Feb?) and also most of my friends too (David, Zhuo Yan, Zen, Abby & Chun Meng...etc). Aaaah!* I dare not to type all the names out; so many out, they are starting to scare me lar.. seems to me, that all my friends are leaving.. SOON. *huge sigh*

anyway, as the New Year approaches.. well I guess there's some people I need to thank. For all their guidance, love, patience and ... aahh! everything!

The big guy up there, my Creator: hahaha.. I know I have not been very good this year and I know You are still a faithful God & You have plans for me, I thank you for everything that You've given to me. ;)
