I caught V for Vendetta yesterday.
So politic-ish. Couldn't really understand some parts. But, it was
quite a good show. I am so waiting to catch the Da Vinci code. I wish
they would sell
pirated dvds here.
:)
Celeste,
Leng
and I had a fun day checking South Bank. Oho. Did I mentioned that we
went there at night to check out the night market? It was nothing much,
but beautiful scenery.
(too lazy to
edit all the pictures because my software in the computer is screwed up
and I refuse to restart my computer, but you get to see beautiful
sceneries!)

We were at some Malaysian 'makan' night thingy; Leng, me and Celeste.

That was

Hello, from one of Brisbane's bus stop.

Taken by
Celeste, with her kick-ass camera from South Bank. It's a view of some part of the city.

She's my damn cool housemate! I
love her to bits. We just had lunch - that explains the big tummy.

That's me and Leng walking back on the
Victoria Bridge. Picture taken by
Celeste from behind - like the effect.
I met the
friendliest bus driver today.
Leng and I got onto 364 which takes us all the way to the valley.
"Morning!"
"Where are you girls heading to?"
"The valley?"
"Ah! but I am going to make a big round before I get to the city. Do you want to hop onto another bus?"
"It's okay. We'll follow you for a tour!"
After a few stops, he had to make a stop nearby the campus bus stop. He got down from his driver seat and came to talk to us.
"So, where are you girls from?"
"Malaysia."
There was another girl in the bus. "I'm from Indonesia."
"How long have you been here?"
"About two months or so."
"Two months? Your English is really good. Well compared to a lot of chinese students who are studying here."
/grin.
"Well, we speak English back home. And it really depends which part of the country are you from."
And the he told us that he used to be teaching in China and all..
Like how often do you get to have a friendly chat with a bus driver?
So nice of him!
See. So friendly. I like friendly bus drivers!
:)
That's one of the best things in Brisbane. Well, you do get moody ones
who grunts at you, but... most of the time they are friendly!
