just some happy random thoughts
This week is the first week of school and as I can gleefully say that I am enjoying my holidays *laughs at those who are going to school tomorrow! bleks!* to the maximum; which obviously includes going-out for movies, loadsa lunch appointments..shopping with the girls and it sums up to: spending a lot of money - simply a girl's forte!
As I see my little siblings get packed for school, especially my brother which is the age of 13, meaning that he's in form 1 now, I've come to realize that he has grown so much, I used to see him at the gate outside, waiting for someone to open the door, in that horrendous yellow shirt, and blue shorts (his primary school uni) and now, he's actually wearing LONG green trousers and white shirt, and he's actually in secondary school. I don't know why, but somehow, looking at him going to school and all, reminds me of myself in form 1 again. ohkay, I was just wondering why I didn't get all this funny thoughts of myself when my sister started school.. and my answer, it was because I was in form 5, and still having loadsa fun in school. :)
Back to looking at my brother going to school and all, and he suddenly tells me this, "hey, che, you know what, I think I don't have time to do my music homework, so I think I'll bring it to school and I'll complete them there, while waiting for class to start." Right after he finishes, the thought of Melody, me, and a few others sitting in the canteen doing our last minute art homework. At that time, we were rushing like hell to finish our art homework, mind you our art teacher was Pn. Christine, and if you didn't finish her art homework, she will throw your art stuff outside, and ask you to sit outside to finish her homework, or WORST; she would make you sit down OUTSIDE the teacher's office to finish your art work. And yes we rushed like hell, but kinda think of it, it was fun. Somehow, art has always been my favourite subject. :p Pn. Christine was also kind enough to let our class do this handcraft thingy; called Pualaman. You have to use oil paint to make this pualaman thingy. It was SO NICE. hehe.. too bad the other classes didn't get to do it because, we kinda, messed up the art room, and teacher didn't want the rest to repeat what we done. :p And ALSO, in form 1, she taught us how to make the 'tembikar' out of clay. It was so damn fun!! and then, in form 2, she even taught us how to do batik! :p It was DARN FUN! :)
And then, my brother continues with, "hey, che, must I pass this homework up tomorrow ah?" my answer, "ummm... dono".... he continues, "but I don't have this subject tomorrow..." "Then no need loh!" and then, the thought of respect popped into my mind. I remembered, in form 1 back then, we used to be SOOO afraid of teachers. kakaka. and then we went to form 2 and later up to form 5, hah! no one gives a damn, as in we weren't rebellious and all, well, a little, but then, we were not like.. afraid of teachers anymore and all.. you should know what I mean. And not only respect for teachers, I remember when I was in form 1, I didn't dare walk past the seniors classes - was scary okay. hah! NOW, kids nowadays arr, they are actually sending love notes (hahahahha... I remember back in form 2, this girl; [won't reveal her name here] used to throw in love notes into class, to one of my classmates! It was damn hillarious! The guys would be making funny noises, and then we would be the busy body ppl reading the note.) and also, I remembered that Joshua Tan used to have this whole troop of girls aka his fan club following him around school. hahaha.. if you ask me, now to do those stuff, I wouldn't have the guts to do so. :p
After that, he goes, "hey che, what should I join ah? Interact Club ah?" (FYI: normally, if he asks too many questions, I'd either ask him to shuttup or ask him to ask someone else or either ask him to eat his rice. But I didn't. Amazingly, I wasn't at all pist with him asking me so many questions.) and I answered his question with a 'duh'-face, and fortunately he was smart enough to understand the face I gave him. :p And suddenly the thought of visiting them during their agm would be a great idea. muahaha. go spy on them see how they handle the club. :p nalah. we just wanted to pay them a surprise visit! *whee. so we visited them today, and the members in our club, aiyah no need to say lar.. we have the biggest number of members compared to our sisters school, and I can see that the members are still growing - which is good. :) wish to list down some of the great memories I used to have in the Interact Club, but it'd be too lengthy also. But all in all I really enjoyed myself being as an active member and also a BOD - "service above self."
just some random happy thoughts about growing up in secondary school. :)
can't believe that classes are gonna begin so soon. reality check, "I-am-no-more-on-holiday-I-am-no-more-on-holiday-I-am-no-more-on-holiday" *chants* great! final semester in A levels - that's fast.
