G'bye
I am no more blogging here.
Still keeping this blog for me to laugh at myself 5 years down the road. It's quite a fun you know, should try it yourself. :)
November 23, 2003; was the first time I started blogging. I laughed when I read that post a few days back. It was good times.

Break?
A good Easter break for the workaholics.
What's there to complain about?
Other than slacking more than usual, promising dear self that I would
complete a certain percentage of work. Alas, I have failed terribly.
With good home-made food and good ol' QUT library who graciously opened on Easter Sunday, I managed to get a good dose of Clueless.
/squeals.
Like, totally, so cool. ;)
Wanted to pay a trip to DFO and Mount Coot-tha, but I guess, plans have
to be cancelled due to impromptu appointments and not enough kaki's.
How can I forget about wonderfullest, fantastica, sunny and perfectish gold coast? A good day at the beach would be good. Too bad, that would have to wait. Maybe when the girls come up during mid-year break.
Did much walking and jogging around the area to lose a good deal of
unwanted fats (still need to lose some) but yeah, I guess sometimes
when you get busy with assignments (especially when you dreamt about
your GPA) and walk A LOT and working on the new website; takes your
mind off things for a while.
Brisbane is hot and sunny except for some chilly nights which I still can go to bed with shorts. :)
And, a very very early birthday card from my siblings. Thank you guys. You have successfully rubbed in the fact that I am 10+10 = 20 years old this year.
That's all from me.

thank you so much for the pair of flipflops nic.

I really appreciate it cos I think it's really really really pretty.
wait. correction. I imagine it to be really really really pretty. I am
sure it is!
:)
now, I cannot wait to go home and try all my new stuff.
7 more months of hard work and 4 months of crazy holidays.
life is good.

Let go
I caught V for Vendetta yesterday.
So politic-ish. Couldn't really understand some parts. But, it was
quite a good show. I am so waiting to catch the Da Vinci code. I wish
they would sell
pirated dvds here.
:)
Celeste,
Leng
and I had a fun day checking South Bank. Oho. Did I mentioned that we
went there at night to check out the night market? It was nothing much,
but beautiful scenery.
(too lazy to
edit all the pictures because my software in the computer is screwed up
and I refuse to restart my computer, but you get to see beautiful
sceneries!)

We were at some Malaysian 'makan' night thingy; Leng, me and Celeste.

Night lights of Brisbane
Treasury Cassino.
That was
last week pictures.
Hello, from one of Brisbane's bus stop.

Taken by
Celeste, with her kick-ass camera from South Bank. It's a view of some part of the city.

She's my damn cool housemate! I
love her to bits. We just had lunch - that explains the big tummy.

That's me and Leng walking back on the
Victoria Bridge. Picture taken by
Celeste from behind - like the effect.
I met the
friendliest bus driver today.
Leng and I got onto 364 which takes us all the way to the valley.
"Morning!"
"Where are you girls heading to?"
"The valley?"
"Ah! but I am going to make a big round before I get to the city. Do you want to hop onto another bus?"
"It's okay. We'll follow you for a tour!"
After a few stops, he had to make a stop nearby the campus bus stop. He got down from his driver seat and came to talk to us.
"So, where are you girls from?"
"Malaysia."
There was another girl in the bus. "I'm from Indonesia."
"How long have you been here?"
"About two months or so."
"Two months? Your English is really good. Well compared to a lot of chinese students who are studying here."
/grin.
"Well, we speak English back home. And it really depends which part of the country are you from."
And the he told us that he used to be teaching in China and all..
Like how often do you get to have a friendly chat with a bus driver?
So nice of him!
See. So friendly. I like friendly bus drivers!
:)
That's one of the best things in Brisbane. Well, you do get moody ones
who grunts at you, but... most of the time they are friendly!
